In the U.K.

ProVen Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs)

We have managed the ProVen VCT and ProVen Growth & Income VCT since their launches in 2000 and 2001.

The ProVen VCTs together manage more than £300m, and they invest in a diversified portfolio of VCT-qualifying private companies. Investments are identified by Beringea as having, in its opinion, significant growth potential.

We manage the ProVen EPS, a flexible, discretionary portfolio service that seeks to provide investors with a consistent level of return by investing in private trading companies that are expected to qualify for Business Relief.

In the U.S.

Beringea U.S. Funds

Beringea U.S. manages a family of funds which targets $2-10 million preferred equity investment opportunities in quickly scaling companies across a range of sectors.

What we look for.

  • Geographic preference: Midwest U.S.
  • Key business metrics: Proven business model targeting a large and growing addressable market; scalable financial and operating metrics; commercially viable product, service, or technology with a defensible market position; exceptional management team with clear vision and passion for the company's future.
  • Financial: High-growth companies with meaningful commercial traction, typically reflected by ARR in excess of $3 million.
  • Stage: Series A, Growth or later.

Beringea's U.S. funds are excluded from Beringea U.K. fundraising activities.
